From B to Z

Big News - I got married on Friday. It was just a small ceremony with our close and available family attending, a total of 12 people attending including myself and Anthony.

I chose this day so that next year on the same date we can have a ceremony and a reception with all of our family and friends.

My nephews had to be the ring bearers because Garrett said I was ruining his life by not having a wedding and letting him carry the rings. So I had all three boys hold one of the rings as we got married.

Then we all went out to eat and afterwards I went home and took a nap and Anthony washed his clothes and went to work. I know fun wedding night right lol!

But we are about to get our house and Anthony couldn't request time off because he will be using that when Baby Amelia comes, who will hopefully be here in 4-5 weeks.

Welcome 2013

Well it's a new year and my promises for this year look a lot like the ones from last year. I did manage to put a little bit of money aside and worked on my debt. And we should close on our house towards the end of January.
  

Let me catch you up on what's happened in 2012...

On Christmas night Anthony proposed.

We found out we are having a baby girl in mid April.

My 2013 Promises

I promise to find a career that I can be proud of and enjoy.

I promise to put aside as much money as I can afford for rainy days.

I promise to erase as much of my debt as I possibly can.

I promise to be happier with myself.

I promise to wake up and walk/run every day that I can so I can be a healthier weight in 2014.

I promise write more. It is what I want to do with my life after all.

I promise to read more.

So 2012 has been an exciting and wonderful year for me. And I hope 2013 will be just as wonderful.

Take Me Out To The Ballgame....

  On Tuesday, Anthony and I went to a Nashville Sounds ballgame. Even though they lost to the Iowa Cubs I had a blast. Who couldn't with such an amazing guy sitting right beside me.

And of course Fourth of July fireworks at the end of the night even though it was a day ahead.

 

We are planning on going again on July 14 so see the Albuquerque Isotopes. They feed into the LA Dodgers which is Anthony's favorite team.

Music Monday

Today's music comes from the Canadian duo, One More Girl. These future country super stars, Britt and Carly McKillip, are rockin' out to  their single "Maybe" which I highly recommend. I mean why else would I play it on my blog right? Well go ahead, give them a listen. According to their website, they will have a CD release sometime later this month.

Bathroom Shelf Project

My mom brought home this shelf for my bathroom, I just needed to fix it up a bit. Of course I had some help from the nephews with this project.

P.S. That's Buttercup (named after The Hunger Games) He is mean as a snake and hisses like one too.

This is a welcome addition to my bathroom. I had no place to put my towels. Until now they've been on the back of the toilet. Plus I like anything pink.

Chalkboard Project

I found this old whiteboard behind a dresser in my hallway so I decided to change it into a chalkboard to hang in my bathroom.

The writing says, "One must suffer to be beautiful." Perfect quote for the bathroom I think.

Patio Table Project

I found this cute patio table at Kroger for only $99! 

 

Of course Red is not my color so I had to spruce it up with a lovely shade of pink!

Right now its sitting in my hallway. It makes me wish I was sitting at a bistro table in Paris underneath the Eiffel Tower. Not too bad for my first project. I have a few more on the way so stay tuned.
